The provided script written in python provides a LaTeX compatible output for use with the [http://tug.ctan.org/cgi-bin/ctanPackageInformation.py?id=dirtree dirtree] package. So one can display directory trees which are generated right at the time when the document is generated. I use [Makefile makefiles] for generating my documents with pdflatex and bibtex and then simply add a few lines to use this small script.
